European Office Cyprus (http://eoc.org.cy). The European Office Cyprus (EOC) is a non profit, non-governmental organisation based in Nicosia, with a representation office in Brussels. It consists of 22 organisations from a wide spectrum of sectors and interests, such as academic institutions, local authorities, banking and legal sector, as well as the cultural, tourism and youth. The European Office Cyprus aims to offer support to its members, so they can use to the maximum the funding and development opportunities offered by the European Union.

The Cyprus Astronomical Society is a registered, non-profit organization established in 1990 by a group of professional and amateur astronomers living in Cyprus. It is dedicated to raising the public’s awareness about the science of astronomy and brings people near astronomy. In order to promotes its targets, the Society organise events for observing the stellar phenomena, open to the public, as well as seminars and lectures.
